California Adventure holds a special place in my heart. When I lived in California, I would spend many a day at both Disney Parks but I had my favorite at spots in both Parks. Doesn’t everyone? I loved breakfast and coffee on Main Street USA and I was addicted to the bread bowls in California Adventure. Not to mention that every time Roz talked to me at the end of the Monsters Inc attraction, I couldn’t stop smiling. Yesterday, California Adventure released new artwork and new merchandise and that means it’s time for me to make another trip out west!
I am loving the artwork that was revealed. I won’t lie that it is making me even more excited for the release of the 45th Anniversary Magic Kingdom merchandise! The California Adventure artwork reminds me of the early movie scene. It is very old world Hollywood and I adore it. I am speaking of the picture on the left. Carthay Circle and Cars Land are featured prominently and Mickey is proudly presenting it all to us. I know I would be proud to have this artwork on a souvenir.
Speaking of souvenirs. The mug above is exactly what I had in mind. I am slightly addicted to coffee and this mug would be perfect to look at every morning. I love the magnet with the spoke like artwork. It’s a clever spin on the ferris wheel and the iconic Mickey image on the side of it down in Paradise Pier!
If fashion is truly your thing, then the above shirts, sweatshirts and hat may be more up your alley. I, personally, love the hat because Mickey Ears are super fun to wear…. and display later. These particular Ears blend the 2 artwork designs, presented above , in a very alluring way.
Disney Trading Pins are the thing and these continue with that glamorous, vintage Hollywood feel. Guests can collect or trade pins from a new mystery pin set. The set contains eight different logo pins, and each mystery box contains two randomly selected pins from this collection. I think that the Hollywood Tower Hotel pin is an interesting addition to this mystery box considering it is about to be completely changed to the Guardians Of The Galaxy theme!
Look for this new merchandise at California Adventure in various merchandise stores. What do you think of the artwork and merchandise? Are you considering purchasing it for yourself? Let us know what you think in the comment box below!
