It is no secret that Halloween is my favorite holiday and day of the year. Thus, Nightmare Before Christmas is a Disney favorite.
The Pumpkin King is having his crowning moment, taking the spotlight of the Dooney & Bourke collection that debuted here at D23 Expo 2017.
The Dooney & Bourke Nightmare Before Christmas collection features a tote, wristlet, and a crossbody.
The leather crossbody features a small scale Jack Skellington print. The black and white scheme is contrasted with a nice raspberry/Dr. Pepper pop of roses.
The leather wristlet features the same small scale Jack Skellington print laden with raspberry/Dr. Pepper roses. It would be great for just the essentials of a phone and some cash and cards.
The Jack Skellington illustration is comprised of various Nightmare Before Christmas motifs and characters. I looove how intricate and well-thought out it was! I appreciate, too, the raspberry/Dr. Pepper choice of stripes instead of a monochromatic white.
The details continue with the bottom of the bag (something designers usually care about least because it won’t be shown) features the same small scale Jack Skellington print found on the wristlet and crossbody. The lining of the back features a lining in the raspberry/Dr. Pepper color with large print NIGHTMARE.
