There have been a lot of fantastic Disney dresses released or announced over the last few weeks. Between the Dress Shop opening and the Her Universe announcement, Disney dresses are everywhere. The dresses are all stunning, admittedly, but they are all themed around well known characters or attractions. What about those characters that aren’t in the spotlight? Don’t they deserve some attention, too? You can really stand out in the crowd in one of these rarely seen Disney character dresses!
I loved Inside Out! We have all seen the cosplay dresses for Joy or Disgust but have you seen one for Bing Bong?? This dress is incredible! I am imagining wearing it when I go to Epcot in May for pictures with Joy and Sadness. Wouldn’t that be perfect? All of the dresses I am sharing are from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Shop Wishes and Wands and they come in a fantastic array of sizes. This one comes in sizes XS- 3XL!
Do you see the difference in these 2 dresses? They aren’t the same character….. The first is a Chip inspired dress and the second is Mrs. Potts! The first thing I thought of was doing a group ensemble for a day at the Parks. There could be a mix of Disney Bounding looks (Belle, Cogsworth, Lumiere) and then more of a cosplay idea with these 2 dresses! Great idea, right??
I talk a lot about Alice In Wonderland and have shared one of my favorite dresses inspired by the film from this very store. This White Rabbit inspired dress would be fantastic on a fellow lover of the film. I’m picturing another group ensemble, fashionistas! I can’t be stopped at this point! I love that this dress even includes the accessories in the print. No need for the bow tie or the watch. They are already there!
Recognize this under appreciated character? It’s Pinocchio! This Pinocchio inspired dress is perfect for a day in Fantasyland at Disneyland. I want a picture in front of the attraction or, better yet, on the attraction!
Check out this Genie inspired dress! Aladdin and Jasmine get all the fame but the reason we all love the film is because of the Genie and you know it! The silhouette of these dresses is super flattering to most body types and I really like that they are all capped sleeved because that always helps to make the arms look slimmer. The comment section for this dress mentions that they will make sizes up to 5XL so make sure to inquire if you don’t see your size.
There are literally hundreds of items to choose from at Shop Wishes and Wands on Etsy. Right now, until April 30th, you can enter Fashionista at checkout and you can save 15% on all orders over $50! As most of these dresses start at $50, that means you will save 15%!!
Don’t you just love these Disney inspired dresses of the unsung characters of our favorite films? Which dress is your favorite? Don’t you think any one of these would be fun to wear to the D23 Expo 2017? Let us know you thoughts in the comment box below!
