There have been a bunch of Dooney and Bourke releases over the last few months but not as many Vera Bradley. It’s about time! There are 2 new Disney Vera Bradley designs to hit the stores this summer and both are absolutely fabulous!
As you can see, there are a ton of different styles in the first new print called the Mickey’s Magical Blooms collection. You will find a Zip ID Case, Medium Zip Cosmetic Bag, Triple Zip Hipster, Vera Bag and Large Duffel, Campus Backpack, Mini Hipster and Front Zip Wallet. If this looks familiar it’s because it is. The new color is an update to the Midnight with Mickey color that was first introduced in 2013. I find that some of the Vera Bradley prints are not quite as easy to see the Disney influence but this one is quite obvious. It’s classic Mickey hiding amongst the flowers in his typical attire.
This design is rather psychedelic to me… and I love it! This is the lightweight Lighten Up Collection. The durable and water-resistant 560D polyester makes Lighten Up styles the perfect accessories to use when traveling to or from Disney Parks or on vacation. We are set to see this print in August. There are not quite as many styles in this print but there are classic styles available such as a Lighten Up Travel Organizer, Lighten Up Expandable Tote, Lighten Up Grande Backpack and Lighten Up Expandable Travel Bag.
These are both considered Park Exclusive prints and this means that you will only be able to find them in certain spots at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. You may also find select Vera Bradley styles on the Disney Park online store.
I mentioned last week that there was a new Dooney and Bourke bag that was available on the Shop Parks App but not in stores anywhere. It turns out this is a new thing Disney is doing. These may also offer these new colors as a first purchase opportunity. This means that you’ll find them available on the app before they are released at merchandise locations in Disney Parks. You never know when they will appear so the best thing to do is keep checking.
