Living in southern California for years means that I spend a lot of time at Disneyland. I went to all the special events and I would even go if I just needed to put a smile on my face. I would just sit on Main Street USA with my coffee and watch the people and the decor. Halloween is one of my favorite times to do this! Though the Halloween Party at Disneyland is different than Walt Disney World, it should not be given any less attention. It is fabulous! The 2016 Halloween merchandise for Disneyland has been revealed and it must be shared!
The Halloween Party is Disneyland’s version of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort returns September 9 through October 31, bringing with it 17 nights of Mickey’s Halloween Party. There are many similar events between the 2 parties like trick-or-treating, the exclusive “Halloween Screams” fireworks and more. The party also brings with it exclusive merchandise and apparel! I like to get a shirt from this event and where it at work around Halloween. It makes the kids smile. There is a hooded fleece, and a shirt designed especially forAnnual Passholders (that’s what I usually grab!).
If you are a pin collector you will be waiting for the pins that are released for this event. Limited Edition pins are always released for events like this and this one is no exception. Look for a limited release logo pin with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Other pins from this collection include two limited edition pins (edition size 4,000 each), and a limited edition four-pin set (edition size 1,000) with world famous Disney characters dressed in themed costumes. I personally love the Villains pin. I also love seeing which costume each character will be wearing each year. It usually changes and I get so excited for the reveal!
If you aren’t going to the party, but still want to commemorate this special time, guests can purchase a limited release pin featuring Chernabog from Walt Disney’s “Fantasia.” The remaining Halloween merchandise has yet to be released but you can be sure it will be released soon! You know that merchandise in every store likes to arrive months in advance. I am surprised I haven’t seen Christmas trees out at Target yet (that might be a slight exaggeration).
Last, but not least, there will be ornaments available for those of us that like to decorate our tree with ornaments reminding of us of all our special trips.
This merchandise will be available at select merchandise locations at the Disneyland Resort.
