I am currently at Walt Disney World and I have been here for a couple of days now. I have been in and out of shops at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney Springs. It was not until yesterday, when I was at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, that I saw a huge section in Stage One Company Store containing all the new merchandise dated with 2017!! It just came out this week!! Here’s a closer look at all the items I could find.
The main theme to the 2017 dated merchandise features Sorcerer Mickey and magical images of the 4 theme parks at WDW. I found it a little ironic that I was at Hollywood Studios when I found the merchandise and I seriously had to take a closer look to see if it wasn’t some kind of trick being played on me by the Park (yes, I admit that sounds paranoid). I mean, they got rid of the Sorcerer Hat and now they are paying homage to it, in a way. Whatever the case may be, I love it!
These are just some of the adult tee shirt designs but I am sure you can see the theme happening here. Whether it be in a neutral dark blue, or a girlie pink, the Sorcerer Mickey images with the 4 park icons is still featured.
They have an assortment of design for kids, as well, but most of them are just mini versions of the adult designs.
I am huge fan of the white sweatshirt design to the right. It states Walt Disney World down the sleeve and the icons in blues, pinks and purples with in the Sorcerer Mickey image is fantastic!!!
If bags are more your thing (I’m not much of a tee shirt girl myself, either) then there are a wide assortment of bags to choose from with the same images. I was hoping for a new fanny pack design, too, but I did not see one as of yet.
People love their plushes! I found 2 in the Stage One Company Store. The one to the left is a mini plush. I am a fan of the larger one. It was so soft!!
Lots of different coffee cups to choose from and the design wraps around to the back. I have soooo many coffee mugs and I just can’t justify anymore but I adore the one with the 2017 handle. Maybe I can find room for more???
New 2017 pins, anyone?? Look at that Stitch one!!!! I saw 4 new 2017 ones out at this time but there may be more to come.
Calendars, toys, albums, picture frames and license plates are also available with the new 2017 designs. You know Disney likes to give you a variety of choices when it comes to souvenirs and they really did a phenomenal job this year. I say key chains, clips and more, as well.
I almost forgot about the hats. I saw 2. I am in love with the white one for the ladies. I can’t say that I have seen one like this from Disney for the dated merchandise. Take a close look at the charms. Darling!!
This 2017 merchandise is not yet in all the stores at the Parks but I expect it to be a rolling release within the days to come. If Hollywood Studios has it, the others cannot be that far behind! I’m not a big fan of “dated merchandise”, but I really like the ladies hat with the 2017 charm. I may need to purchase one when we go to WDW next week.
I love the dated T’s. There is always a wonderful memory with each year and it seems easier to recall from viewing the T. Besides that’s about all I wear and my friends might not recognize me without one on 🙂

I’m on my way home and along with me is this hat and my “Marathon” Dooney and Bourke purse. Oh what a great trip! I’m planning on wearing the hat and carrying the purse when we go back in April to WDW for “Dapper Day”!!! I think that they are both very classy. Thanks for the “heads up”.
