Even the U.S. Postal Service is celebrating May the Fourth in 2021 with the Star Wars Droid Stamps – and let me tell you, these are the stamps you’ve been looking for. I may not be a stamp collector but these may change my mind!
The entire collection releases on May 4, 2021, but they are available for pre-order now.
Star Wars Droids Stamp Sheet
The Star Wars Droids stamps celebrate 10 of the hardest working (and most adventurous) droids in the beloved Star Wars galaxy. The sheet of 20 stamps includes R2-D2, BB-8, C-3P0, K2-SO, IG-11, L3-37, a Gonk droid, and a surgical droid (who you can thank for giving Luke Skywalker a mechanical hand!). My personal favorite, C1-10P (aka Chopper from Star Wars Rebels!), is even included! The sheet of 20 is available for $11.00.
Star Wars Droids Envelope Sets
There is also a Star Wars Droids Digital Color Postmark that retails for $17.00 for a set of 10. Each envelope in the set comes with a Star Wars stamp that is canceled with an official First Day of Issue postmark. The postmark coordinates with each particular stamp design.
The Star Wars Droids First Day Cover is a set of 10 envelopes that retails for $9.90. Each envelope has a randomly selected Star Wars stamp that is also canceled with an official First Day of Issue postmark.
All of these items would be great for stamp collectors and Star Wars fans alike! I plan on getting the sheet of 20 stamps and framing them to put in my son’s room. He is a huge BB-8 and R2-D2 fan!
