My son and I are huge fans of Wishables, so when we saw the announcement that Cars Land Wishables would be racing into Disney World and ShopDisney, we were both so excited! Cars is his absolute favorite movie and he loves blind bags, so it was a match made in heaven! We went to Contemporary on June 2 for the release day and luckily found a small display of the Cars Wishables. Like the other popular Wishable collections, these are sure to sell out fast!
Lightning McQueen
Luckily for me, Lightning McQueen is available without having to find him in a blind bag. He is my son’s favorite character and I’m grateful I didn’t have to search the blind bags trying to find him. The Piston Cup champion looks especially adorable as a Wishable!
Cars Blind Bags
The blind bag Cars options are all awesome, and I think I’d be equally happy to get any of them. No duds in this collection, I’m happy to report! There are four different characters available – Sally, Red, Mater, and the Radiator Springs Racer vehicle in yellow! There are also two “chase” Wishables – the Radiators Springs Racer vehicle in green or blue. Since a lot of them are very similar (if not identical) shapes, it will definitely be a challenge to collect all seven!
Oddly enough, although the Cars Land Wishables are available in Walt Disney World and ShopDisney, they are at different price points! In Disney World, they are $12.99 a piece, while on ShopDisney, they are still $9.99 (the old Wishables price). In Disney World, AP and DVC discounts apply, so you would be able to get them for around the same price as online. Also, if you order on ShopDisney, you have to pay a shipping fee unless you spend over $75. Plus, the fun of getting blind bags in person is feeling the bag to try to find the one you wanted! So the extra cost may be worth it to you if there is a specific character that you’re searching for.
