We are head over heels for the new Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary MagicBand! This fun and fabulous MagicBand features several of our favorite Disney characters from Walt Disney World’s past and present.
The rich navy blue background of the band is right in line with several of the other 50th Anniversary products we have seen so far. In fact, this MagicBand would perfectly match the 50th Anniversary Spirit Jersey! While the color is beautiful, what really stands out about this design is the use of so many different Disney characters!
One side of the MagicBand includes Dumbo, Orange Bird (my absolute favorite!), and Simba. Peeking out from below Simba appears to be Madame Leota, but I am not absolutely positive on that one. My second guess is Jimminy Cricket holding his umbrella. We will have to wait and see the new MagicBand in real life to be sure of who it actually is! There is also a special Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary MagicBand slide shown on this side.
The other side of the MagicBand includes Tinker Bell, Figment, Chuuby, Kevin, Mr. Toad, and BB-8. I love how this side features characters from each of the Parks at Walt Disney World. Tinker Bell and Mr. Toad represent Magic Kingdom. Figment represents Epcot, Chuuby and BB-8 represent Hollywood Studios. Finally, Kevin represents Animal Kingdom.
This special 50th Anniversary MagicBand is currently available as a pre-arrival exclusive. That means you need to have a Walt Disney World vacation booked in order to choose and purchase this MagicBand. The cost for this band is $30.00.
