I love the vintage look in many different things. I am using a very vintage/retro look for our invitations and rehearsal brunch announcements for our wedding. It reminds me of Tomorrowland, which I love. Now, there is a new kitchen collection available at the Disney Store called the Walt Disney World Vintage Collection and it is perfect for people wanting that retro flare in their kitchen!
This Walt Disney World Vintage Collection Dessert Plate is just one example of the new pieces in this collection. I personally love the design aesthetic. It’s retro (like the Prime Time Cafe!) but very elegant. The colors play a large part in the elegance factor. “Believe In Magic” seems to be the general message across the board in this collection and I think, especially during such a rough week in Orlando, we need to believe in magic at this time.
This Walt Disney World Vintage Collection Tea Cup goes perfectly with the
Walt Disney World Vintage Collection Tea Pot! The Mickey Mouse compass is a fantastic touch. Notice the words on this piece are also inspired, “Never Give Up.” Are we sensing a theme here? The gold detailing on the handle adds that touch of class you see through out the collection.
The Walt Disney World Vintage Collection Placemat would be a nice touch, if you are like me, and have your dining room always set. I like the idea of walking into my house and seeing the dining room look like a scene in a magazine. I could totally picture setting my dining room with this collection and having these on my table!
