Whenever I think about the Disney Parks, one of the first rides that comes to mind is It’s A Small World. I’ll be the first to admit that (don’t hate me), while this ride is a classic, I was scared to death of the audio-animatronic dolls in the ride and closed my eyes the first time I went to Disney. Since that time, I’ve grown up a bit and have come to appreciate this classic ride. I love the colors and the music. Even if it does get stuck in your head! This month, Disney will be releasing the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction It’s A Small World. I can’t wait to join Mickey as he takes a turn and sings along with this classic ride.
This release includes all the major elements that we have seen in past collections. It starts with a plush version of our BFF Mickey Mouse. Mickey has a pastel colored body and complementing pants and vest. He holds a pocket watch and both of his ears have numbers on them that look like they popped right off of a clock.
If you want to match Mickey then you are in luck! The ear headband in this set has ears that match the design on Mickey’s ears. There is a pastel blue-green headband that matches Mickey’s pants. At the center of the ears, you will see the It’s A Small World logo and a building from the ride.
There is also a collectible key. There is a Mouse Head version of the logo at the top of the key. Buildings from the ride make up the key’s handle and are in wonderful pastel colors. Finally, the 50th-anniversary castle logo hangs at the bottom of the key. This key is one of my personal favorites!
You can also get a limited edition pin. Here Mickey poses, wearing the same outfit that you see him dressed in as a plush.
Finally, there is a bedazzled mini backpack. One of the things that I have really loved about the bags in this series is that the front pouch looks like Mickey’s pants. The pants, in combination with the Mickey ears at the top, allow you to carry Mickey wherever you go in a very classy and subtle way. Like the other It’s A Small World items, this bag has pastel colors. The body of the bag even has purple sequins. If you know me at all, then you’ll know it is impossible for me to say no to sequins! The bag has golden hardware that matches the gold in the It’s A Small World logo on the bag’s ear.
