I have never been one to keep my laundry fairytale fresh on a Disney Cruise. My mother, however, is always doing laundry before heading home. I may have to join her next time I am on the Disney Wish because the laundry facility is magical!
No, there aren’t little creatures that will do your laundry for you (although if you have loads of money to burn through you could pay the crew to do that for you). This is just a beautiful, upgraded space from the other ships that makes it so much easier to get the job done!
I am addicted to ironing. Admittedly, ironing my scrubs before work is not abnormal for me. I’m a strange fashionista. I was thrilled to see larger ironing boards and bigger spaces to get the job done! In the past, I have had a hard time ironing some of my dresses on other Disney Cruise ships but that’s all changed on the Disney Wish. Lots of room for lots of people. In fact, I even made friends while ironing and chatting with other cruisers.
There is only one Fairytale Fresh Laundry on the Disney Wish and it is on deck 8, right off of the Forward elevator bay. I never saw anyone having to wait for a machine or an iron. The space is huge and there are lots of machines. You will have no problems getting your laundry fresh and clean for your journey home.
