I love to decorate for any and every holiday that I can. Right now, because it is summer, my home is decked out in red, white, and blue. It won’t be long however until the pumpkins start creeping in! I’ve already entered the planning stages. After that, it’s time to break out the Hanukkiah and the Christmas decorations. Last year, I had a very Disney Themed holiday season and I am hoping for something similar this year as well. An item at the top of my decorating wish list is one of these Wooden Disney Ornaments! It’s impossible to pick just one!
Hotel Themed
When I first went to Disney, I got spoiled. It was a family trip and we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. Because of that experience, the Wilderness Lodge has always had a very special place in my heart. When I first saw this ornament, I just had to have it. I think that the wooden material is a great match for the theme of the hotel.
There’s also the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Ornament. Again, I think that this hotel was an obvious choice for a wooden ornament. I love how the hotel logo blends in perfectly with the ornament’s design.
Disney Parks
In addition to the Hotel themed ornaments, you can also get an ornament for each one of the four parks at Walt Disney World. The simplicity of the design makes the ornaments even more appealing. Each ornament has a golden silhouette of a major landmark in the park. Each silhouette is on a jet black background, which really makes them stand out. You can choose to buy an individual park ornament or buy them all in a set of four.
Disney Cruise Line
The Disney Cruise Line Ornaments are a real treasure! The detail of each one sets them apart from a lot of the other Disney-inspired ornaments that I have come across. You have the option of selecting from five of the Disney Ships. For only $2.00 more, you can also get your ornament personalized.
Mickey Mouse
Finally, you can also get a Mickey Mouse Glitter Ornament. These ornaments are really a glitter explosion and I couldn’t be more excited. Mickey’s silhouette appears on the ornament on either a ruby, sapphire, or emerald background. The silhouette and outline are a sparkling silver color. While I really like the ruby and sapphire glitter background, I think that I am most fond of the emerald color because it has specks of silver glitter in it and is different from the other two options that are completely covered in glitter.
