Halloween is one of my favorite seasons to decorate for. I have not made a secret of this fact. I go full out for the holidays and I like it when some of the items I use can be used for other things. I know this probably sounds difficult to do but I can usually find something. I love to display Disney artwork, whether it is in wall form or a figurine. Today’s Disney discovery will be perfect for Halloween! Today’s Disney discovery is a Halloween candy dish by Jim Shore.
Can you even believe this is a candy dish? I knew that Jim Shore made fantastic Disney figurines but I had no idea he also made functional ones! Usually, the figurines are just for viewing pleasure. This candy dish, of Vampire Mickey Mouse, would be perfect in my curio cabinet throughout the year but useful for dishing out candy on Halloween. I am usually not home to dish out candy but I could display it with candy in it throughout the Halloween season!
Something that is beautiful and functional is not going to be cheap. It’s not cheaply made, either! This Jim Shore candy dish is $79.99. I know that my current candy dish (that I bought over 15 years ago at the Disney Store) was $30. This seems pretty reasonable with inflation and it’s double duty.
