Disney has introduced a new vinyl series from Disney artists. They are a new collection of vinyl figures, and this month the characters are reimagined in surrealistic style. Meet the vinyl stylings of Joe Ledbetter!
As you can tell, this series is FAR OUT …er, I mean patterned after the 80’s. The vinyl figures arrived in a display worthy scenic box with two accessories. But wait, there’s more! PLOT TWIST! Every purchase offers a 1:4 chance of receiving a chase variant shipped at random.
The 8-bit inspired artistry is TOTALLY TUBULAR! It’s like traveling back to the 1980’s. J.Led self professes inspiration from early animation, skateboarding graphics, and comics. I know It certainly is taking me a step back to my childhood.
J.Led does an amazing job at not only capturing the personalities of each of the characters, but also keeping with the retro theme. Seeing Pluto with his bone wrapped in the bow and Donald with his first raised automatically transports the viewer right back to the days of the early cartoons.
