The runDisney Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend returns to Disneyland Resort from November 10-13, 2016.As I don’t run, the merchandise is part of the event I look forward to (shocking). Here is a look at some of the merchandise that will be available for the event.
Now, I am the first to admit that I am NOT a runner. Nope, someone has to be chasing me in order for me to willingly run for any kind of distance. However, this merchandise just might make me a convert!
Merchandise for the Super Hero Half Marathon will feature a variety of characters on performance T-shirts, tanks, jackets, hoodies and more. Guests will also find hats, Bondi Bands, Sweaty Bands, and themed drink ware created especially for the event. I think it’s really cool how they’ve used the Avengers “A” as a feature in the Half Marathon logo. Oh, and I’m loving that Black Widow performance tank top!
Crossing the finish line of any marathon is a serious accomplish. Show off your pride with several different “I Did It” shirts. It doesn’t matter which race you participated in(Captain America 5K, the Doctor Strange 10K, or the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon), there is a shirt for you!
If you are taking part in the Super Heroes Half Marathon weekend, there is one other event that should be on your radar. The Infinity Gauntlet Challenge. This event involves running the 13.1-mile half marathon, plus the 6.2–mile 10K. Wow, that’s a lot of running! But to keep you motivated, there is a wide selection of long- and short-sleeved apparel for both women and men along with pins, car magnets and hats. Do it for the merch, people!
Ah, now this is more my speed! Created for the event, Disney will released three new handbags by Dooney and Bourke. The new design features familiar faces and classic heroes. I really like the comic book quality of the characters here. However, as we make the slow drudge toward winter, I wish the bag was a different color other than white. Oh well, it’s still super cute and can be put away until warmer weather!

- Thursday, November 10: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday, November 11: Noon – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, November 12: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
