Hurrah to Loungefly for releasing such a valiant mini backpack! Woman’s History Month may be “over” but I think we should always celebrate strong women! March is set aside to celebrate the historical accomplishments of strong and capable women and we are going to keep that going. Perfect timing for Loungefly to prove Strong is Fabulous!
Take a glimpse of the front of the mini backpack found HERE, and you’re transported to Encanto, the village of the magical family Madrigal. Luisa sits atop a unicorn donkey(?) as they gallop through yellow and purple flowers. The motto “Being Strong is Fabulous” is found on the front pocket, along with butterflies and dumbbells.
Side pockets feature embroidered flowers and dumbbells to represent Luisa’s strength. The flowers are the same color and pattern as those on the front of the bag.
Located in the rear right corner of the backpack you’ll see Luisa lifting a Donkey overhead. Although the picture is humorous I love the symbolism this represents. As pack animals largely known for their ability to carry heavy loads, the animal that Luisa lifts represents the severe burdens placed upon her as the “strong one” of the family. As women, we get that! Don’t you feel pulled in multiple directions at once and expected to balance all the spinning plates?
Lastly, you’ll love the interior lining of the Loungefly. Royal blue in color, you’ll find alternating cameos of the strong woman posed with hands on hips or in the infamous donkey on shoulder picture. Greenery, flowers and dumbells fill the space in between.
