We have been patiently waiting for the release of the Moana Dooney & Bourke collection ever since we glimpsed it on shopDisney. Now, there is a sneak peek of the full collection on display at Ever After Jewelry in Disney Springs we are in love!
This collection features three different silhouettes. First, there is the satchel/backpack ($268) style that we first saw on shopDisney. The satchel features a large (and absolutely stunning) artwork of Moana on the front of the bag. The back features a neutral print of the tan and beige background we see behind Moana. At first, I had delusions that I could pass on this bag and that I didn’t absolutely need it in my collection. However, it is becoming very clear that I was very wrong, and I do need this one! It’s just so pretty!
Next, the second silhouette is a drawstring bag ($298) style. It is not very often that we see a Dooney & Bourke collection that features this silhouette, so I am glad to see it here. It’s perfect for summer adventures. But the biggest “wow” moment of this drawstring bag is that we see the all-over pattern in this collection.
Here, we see Moana in two different poses. First, she is facing front and center while she looks into the heart of Te’Fiti. Second, she glances over to shoulder as she wears her flower crown – just like we see her on the backpack style. This all-over pattern also includes her boat, tropical leaves in brown and aqua, and Kakamora.
If you look closely, you’ll also spot the interior lining color! It appears to be a beautiful magenta color that really coordinates with the flowers she wears in her crown.
The last silhouette in the Moana Dooney & Bourke Collection is a wallet ($168)! I absolutely love that Dooney & Bourke have been releasing more wallets lately! I feel like we went through a wallet dry spell for far too long.
The wallet features the same all-over print of Moana, Kakamora, and tropical touches. Placement is going to be crucial on this one! We highly suggest reaching out to shopthemeparks, the preferred personal shopper of Disney Fashionista. She will make sure that you get a stunning placement!
The new Moana Dooney & Bourke Collection is slated to launch on shopDisney.com and in the parks on Monday, April 17th, 2023.
