I have not shared my love of Paris with you all but I admit it… I am in love. In fact, the goal is to retire there. The history, the fashion and the food alone are enough to make me swoon, So when I saw this collection of vintage looking Disney bags, I admit I was in heaven. This collection of Vintage looking bags by Olympia Le-Tan, a Paris based design house, really brings me back to the original designs of some of the classic films. Let’s take a glimpse at some of the fabulous bags I found.
These bags are not large bags and, in fact, appear to be mostly clutches and smaller over the shoulder bags. However, the designs and classic looking artwork make it easy for me to get over the size. The price is a little on the hefty side for the average shopper. If you are a true vintage lover or even a collector, you may be able to see past the dollar signs. The cost in USD (with the current exchange rate) ranges from $855- $1655. I have found a few on net-a-porter.com and the complete collection on Olympia Le-Tan’s website. Of course, on the designer’s website, the prices are in Euros.
As you can see above, the collection includes designs for Alice In wonderland, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty. Truly classic, vintage movies. The clutches that are made to look like books are my absolute favorite. Of course, these are also the bags that are $1655. What can I say? I have expensive taste! I think I feel a trip to Paris coming on so I can purchase one in person!
