Donald Duck Through the Years Dooney & Bourke Coming Soon!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Our feathers are in a flurry today because we have a first look at a new collection coming soon! The Donald Duck Through the Years Dooney & Bourke collection is the perfect way to celebrate Donald’s 90th birthday.

Donald Duck Through the Years Collection

The Disney Store Japan website has released the first images of this new collection, which is listed as Coming Soon. After it hits virtual store shelves overseas, we are very much hoping to see it make a splash on this side of the pond. It’s designed to look just like the Mickey Mouse Through the Years collection from 2019. If you already have the Mickey bag, you NEED the Donald bag to complete your collection.

Before we check out the styles, let’s first take a closer look at the pattern.

This print does exactly what the name of the collection implies. It shows different images of Donald Duck throughout the years. From photographs of him at Disneyland, to promotional buttons, to starring roles in iconic animation – Donald has definitely waddled his way into our hearts over the past 90 years.

Collection Silhouettes

The Donald Duck collection features three different silhouettes. You’ll find a tote bag, a wallet, and a crossbody.

The tote bag appears to be the smaller of the Dooney & Bourke totes, which we have seen a lot of lately. Personally, I love this size for everyday use much more than the bigger totes. This tote also features a special leather hang tag for Donald’s 90th birthday.

I really love that Dooney & Bourke has been releasing more wallets lately! One of my favorite things is collecting both the tote bag and the wallet for my collection. It’s just a fun and fabulous way to show off your favorite characters and prints! Here, we can also see a closer look at the beautiful and bright blue trim on the leather wrist strap.

Finally, the crossbody is perfectly sized for those who travel light. I absolutely love this silhouette and shape. You still get plenty of the print, the leather hang tag, and all the style. It’s just more compact than the tote bag.
