Did you know that Disneyland California is the only park that can brag on having a Matterhorn ride? Walt Disney’s brainchild was inspired by a trip to the Alps. Club 33 Celebrates Matterhorn’s 65th Anniversary with an exclusive Loungefly as stunning as the Swiss Alps themselves.

Isn’t this bag absolutely stunning? Thank you to our Friend MinnieEarCollectors for sharing your pictures with us! One of the flagship mountains at Disneyland, it’s only appropriate to receive the premier release from Club 33 featuring artwork from Jeff Granito. The front of the bag depicts an applique of the mountain accompanied by a waterfall and a local building. The devil is in the details with the charming bag. The front pocket has a wood facade with colorful patches but notice the darling blue trim which gives it the extra touch.

Those little added touches continue around the bag to the side pocket. Embroidered flowers decorate the pocket while blue lace lines the seams. Seriously so cute, it makes me want to yodel. The same floral design is located on the lining along with the occasional mountain goat. But honestly, what would the Matterhorn bag be without the Yeti zipper pull?

Decorative trim continues along the backpack straps and again you see a Swiss crest. Granito’s artwork is very reminiscent of Toll painting in my opinion. Above the crest, you again see the elusive title of Club 33.
