The Haunted Mansion Ride and I have a very interesting relationship. I remember the first time I went to Disney. I was scared to death to get on the ride. Eventually, I finally did ride the ride but closed my eyes the entire time. It took me several years to finally build up the courage to ride it with my eyes open. Now, I look forward to every second of it. These new Haunted Mansion Bags are every bit as spooky as the ride but in the best of ways.
The collection includes three pieces. The first option is this Gargoyle Mini Backpack, found here. The bag will travel with you wherever you go, welcoming any foolish mortals that you may pass by. The Gargoyle grips on tightly to two candle sticks as he keeps a close watch on both you and the gate. Below him is a small zip-up compartment that looks like a crypt. It is perfect for holding on to all of your valuables and anything else that you would like to stow away. If the bag wasn’t creepy enough, the Gargoyle and the entrance to the mansion also glow in the dark when the lights go down.
The next item is a Haunted Mansion Plaque Crossbody Bag, which you can find here. The bag looks exactly like something that you would see hanging in the mansion. The strap of the bag has eerie eyes peeking out all over it.
And, you are almost getting two items for the price of one because the bag also has a removable change purse. Like the Gargoyle Mini Backpack, elements of this bag also glow in the dark.
Finally, if you liked the change purse on the crossbody bag, then you are in for a treat! There is a matching Haunted Mansion Clock Glow-in-the-Dark Cardholder. The cardholder, found here, even has moving hands.
I must admit, that I think that this cardholder is the scariest of all the items. When I first saw it glowing in the dark, chills ran down my spine.
