Last year kicked off the first season of Disney Jollywood Nights. Now, in 2024, it’s back and better than before. Thanks to Disney Parks Blog, we have 10 reasons that you will want to get dressed up and get over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this holiday season. This separately-ticketed five-hour event takes place on select nights from November 9 to December 21.
1. “Glisten!” – Skating Spectacular
An ice skating show in the middle of Florida? Could it be true? This year, it is! The brand-new experience, “Glisten!”, will offer Guests a stunning skating show right on Hollywood Boulevard.
Several times each evening, you’ll be swept away by the grace and skill of international champion skaters as they perform breathtaking routines set to a vibrant holiday soundtrack including original songs and Disney favorites like “Be Our Guest” and “When You Wish Upon A Star.”
2. The Muppets Take Over Christmas
Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will be your hosts during a dazzling experience at the Theater of the Stars with “Disney Holidays in Hollywood.” In this spectacular show, contemporary jazz flair meets the classic charm of vintage Hollywood. The show will feature special guests including Tiana, Belle, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse performing to holiday hits.
3. Tim Burton’s THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Sing-Along
This is Halloween! I mean, this is Christmas! The holidays collide when you step inside the Hyperion Theater to experience Tim Burton’s THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Sing-Along. Fans of the film along with those who are new to the story are sure to enjoy this imaginative re-telling of the tale.
4. Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
Are you ready to dance off the calories of those holiday cookies? Head to the all-new Pixar-themed dance party, where Joy, Frozone, Edna Mode, and other Pixar pals invite you to rock around the Christmas tree. This dance party is sure to be fun for kids and kids at heart!

Enjoy the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood during the Twilight Soirée inside The Tip Top Club at The Hollywood Tower Hotel. You’ll have a holly jolly holiday as you enjoy the swanky music, vintage cocktails, and retro-vibes.
For a more laid-back experience, head to the Hollywood Brown Derby for Jazzy Holidays. Live piano playing fills the air while you savor seasonal bites, creating a cozy atmosphere that perfectly complements the magic of the holidays. This is a limited-capacity experience; reservations are strongly recommended to help you plan your evening.
6. New Time for Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
Are you someone who looks forward to driving around at night to look at all the holiday light displays in your area? Well, take that experience and multiply it by 5 million and you have “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” Take a festive journey to the North Pole with the elves from “Prep & Landing.”
In my household, we watch Prep & Landing at least once a week throughout the entire year. Needless to say, I cannot wait for this event!
The Chinese Theater comes alive with holiday moments from Disney favorites like “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” and “Beauty and the Beast,” all leading up to a sparkling finale that’s “So tinsel!”
7. Photo Opportunities and Character Interactions
Hollywood and the paparazzi go hand in hand. Step into the spotlight during Disney Jollywood Nights and let Disney PhotoPass capture your fabulous memories.
