Epcot Welcomes New Collection to Mexico Pavillion

Bienvenida nueva mercancia! Break out the mariachi band, it’s time to fiesta! A trip around the World Showcase reveals Epcot Welcomes New Collection to Mexico Pavillion.

According to Barbara, our Mexican Fashionista, this collection is charro-themed. No, not a churro. According to a Google search, a charro is “a Mexican horseman or cowboy, typically one in elaborate traditional dress.” As you can see the ears have a brownish-maroon base accented with a magenta papel picado bow and embroidered flowers. Mickey greets you on both the t-shirt and crossbody bag. Decked out in traditional dress with a Mexico banner, find flowers among the verbiage ” Food, Friends, Fiesta.”

Continuing the theme, discover items for around the home. You have options in which to hold your beverage of choice with a ceramic mug and stainless tumbler. Mickey’s sombrero is actually a lid for the mug, how fun is that? Whether you’re looking for a place to lay your head or a little touch of Mexico, you’ll be reaching for the fun throw pillow. Disney offers us an adorable Sketchbook Ornament of Mickey making beautiful music as well as a themed magnet for the fridge.
