It’s time to dress up right with this GAP x Muppets collaboration

Muppet fans rejoice! It’s time to play to put on makeup, It’s time to dress up right with this GAP x Muppets collaboration. Gap, in collaboration with Disney, is launching its first ever limited-edition Muppets t-shirt and hoodie adult collection to shop exclusively on gap.com beginning 3/24. I know I will want to add every single one of these to my closet.

The 7-piece adult line includes screen-printed t-shirts ($48.00) and sweatshirts ($68.00). These garments feature black and white portraits of our beloved Muppets characters, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and Animal. But these are not any portraits, you can see each Muppet wearing an outfit inspired by Gap’s Spring iconic essentials such as the Denim jacket, T-Shirt and the Organic Cotton Poplin Big Shirt. These images bring us back to the good old days of the Muppets calendars and magazine advertising.

Each character was styled by Gap Inc. Creative Director & Executive Vice President, Zac Posen, who posted these fun behind the scenes images on his social media. Imagine this amazing opportunity for Zac Posen to get to know and dress these total icons of Disney. It’s easy to think of Miss Piggy being a fashion icon but everyone was delightfully styled without feeling out of character.

Honestly the Muppets are having the best time celebrating their 70th anniversary and we are here for it. I am sure these pieces from the GAP x Muppets collaboration will make more than one Fashionista happy and probably even become collector’s items. Be sure to snag them while you can!
