In my household, the latest craze has taken over. Fidget spinners are lying around in different rooms, left behind by my step daughters as they move on to other tasks. Fidget spinners are everywhere now! I see them at the checkout counters in various stores and clipped to people’s bags in line. It isn’t shocking that Disney has jumped on this new trend. Disney light up fidget spinners have been spotted at Disney Parks!
Some of you may have somehow avoided this new trend and you may be wondering what is she talking about?! Fidget Spinners have been advertised as a toy that helps people who have trouble focusing or fidgeting. These people tend to include people with ADHD, autism, or anxiety but are not exclusive to people with these issues. They claim they do this by acting as a release mechanism for nervous energy or psychological stress. I can tell you that I know a few people with these issues and they do say that the fidget spinners help them. That’s pretty cool.
Whether you choose Mickey, Minnie or Stitch (or all 3) you can find a popular Disney character to help alleviate those fidgeting issues. I just want one to play with, I’m not going to lie. I think they look fun to test out.
These are not yet available on the Disney Store or on the Shop Disney Parks App. They had them at Disneyland a few weeks ago but they just arrived on the East coast.
