During the What’s Cooking with Disney Eats panel at Destination D23, Disney’s food & beverage teams treated fans to a full menu of announcements alongside host Keith Habersberger of the Try Guys. Among the most exciting reveals? Eight brand-new novelty items coming to Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line ships! From festive popcorn buckets to whimsical sippers and collectible mugs, Disney is once again proving that snacking is just as stylish as it is delicious.
Did you know that popcorn has been a Disney staple for 70 years? It first debuted on opening day at Disneyland in 1955! What started as a simple snack evolved into a collectible craze when the first character bucket—a Mickey Mouse Ghost—was introduced in 2010. Since then, fans have lined up for everything from Figment to Star Wars droids. Today, the novelty lineup has expanded to include mugs and sippers, making every snack and sip a magical experience.
Sneak Peek at New Popcorn Buckets, Sippers, and Mugs

The Holiday Christmas Tree Truck Bucket features Mickey and Friends delivering festive cheer in a holiday-ready pickup. This jolly design will arrive this season at Disneyland Resort, Aulani, and select Disney Cruise Line ships.

Fans of tiki culture will love the Trader Sam’s Holiday Zombie Mug. You can choose from two festive versions—one gold-threaded, one red. These special mugs will make spirits bright at both Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.

Onboard the brand-new Disney Destiny, launching November 20, two stunning novelties will be available exclusively in the Haunted Mansion Parlor. First, the Poseidon Mug, featuring the god of the sea. Next, the Siren Mug, which transforms from a sinister siren to an aquatic beauty in its double-sided design.

Disney and Pixar fans can look forward to the Monsters, Inc. Scream Canister Bucket, a playful take on the iconic canister from the films. This scream-worthy bucket is headed to Disneyland Resort and select Disney Cruise Line ships.

Toy Story’s Little Green Men are ready for takeoff in the Jetpack Sipper, blasting into Disneyland Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and select Disney Cruise Line ships.

Spring will bloom with the Winnie the Pooh & Piglet Bucket, a pastel-perfect design featuring Pooh in bunny ears and Piglet with an Easter egg. This sweet treat is expected next spring at Disneyland Resort and on select Disney Cruise Line ships.

Finally, Star Wars fans won’t want to miss the Bantha Sipper, a furry and horned creature transformed into an out-of-this-world drink vessel. This intergalactic collectible will be available next year at Disneyland Resort and on select Disney Cruise Line ships.
From holiday magic to galactic adventures, these new popcorn buckets and sippers prove that Disney never runs out of creative ways to make snacks collectible. Whether you’re a popcorn bucket pro or a sipper superfan, there’s something here worth adding to your collection.
