There is a new Disney collaboration coming our way. This time, German company “Zoeppritz since 1828” is drawing inspiration from the one and only Mickey Mouse to create a new home decor collection. This is a perfect pair – Zoeppritz starting in 1828 and Mickey Mouse was born in 1928.
“Working along side Disney is one of the highlights of our company’s near 200 years history“, says Jan Alt, managing director of Zoeppritz GmbH. “Disney gave us access to their company archives and gave us a large choice from their iconic-historical designs. It was fascinating to see how the appearance of Mickey Mouse has altered in the course of time. It quickly became clear that the original mouse from its screen debut would be the perfect character for our collection. We are very pleased with what we have achieved and are looking forward to the cooperation with our partner Disney.“
The Disney X Zoeppritz collection will feature fashion pieces, stylish throws, and cushions. And of course, we have a sneak peek look at what to expect in the new collection. Now just as a note, not too much is known about this collection yet, and all the “titles” of the below products have been made up by myself. Hopefully soon we will know some official products names, but until then, I just let me imagination, and a bit of obvious observation do the work.

Of these sneak peek images, my favorites have to be the “Mickey Mouse Cartoon Sketch Throw” and “Mickey Mouse Clock Cushion” (again, my own names). The style works wonderfully with what I already have going on in my own living room.
No news on what price point the Disney X Zoeppritz collection will fall within, but here’s to hoping that it’s affordable! These designs will be available in stores that carry the brand on September 1st and online HERE.
