While visiting Aulani earlier this month, we showcased the new Fun in the Sun collection that just arrived at Kalepa Store. Going back a few days later, we discovered that it’s a Duffy and Friends pin party at Aulani, and we are for it.
This is the first time we see all Duffy and Friends on the same piece of merchandise at Aulani. LinaBell was not around when the Sunny Days collection came out two years ago. Now we have everyone enjoying all that this wonderful resort offers and having the best time in Hawaii.
Fun in the Sun pins
In these pieces, we see each one of Duffy’s friends in its own pin. They are the exact same design we can see in the off white adults’ sweatshirt from the collection. Each of the friends is inside a triangular shape similar to Aulani’s trademark architectural details. We can see all of them wearing Hawaiian clothing and doing something fun while enjoying their time at the resort.

These pins have been available at Aulani for some time now, but it’s great to see them for us to shop. Especially if you don’t visit often or if this is your first trip. Nothing like reading an article from The Disney Fashionista and discovering the things you fell in love with from our previous posts are waiting for you.
We were also happy to see some of the artists’ showcase designs. Olu Mel is the Duffy friend who is originally from Hawaii, and Aulani is his home resort. This makes it only natural for him to get the most love here. Every now and then, a talented artist is invited to celebrate our favorite turtle. In the last couple of years, Jerrod Maruyama and Shar Tuiasoa.
