When I first saw this year’s Nurses Day pin, I wasn’t sure what to think. I was a bit surprised to see Mickey and Pluto. Then, I was happy to see Disney recognize that men (or mice in this case) are nurses, too! Mickey and Pluto celebrate Nurses Day 2026 with this fabulous pin!
Mickey is wearing his scrubs and checking out Pluto. I would think that Pluto needs a vet, but Mickey is a mouse, so I guess this makes sense. So often, the stereotype is that only women are nurses, and I love that this pin goes beyond the stereotype.
Nurses Day is May 6th. I know anyone in the profession would be honored to receive this pin in honor of the celebration! Though it’s not my favorite design of the past few years, it is Disney and it is still awesome!
