I am well aware of the fact that Edna Mode says No Capes! With that being said, she must not have seen these fabulous capes we spotted at Disney Springs!
Let’s talk about my ladies first. We all know that the Fairy Godmother wears a fabulous blue and pink cape, and now we can, too! This would be fabulous for Halloween! You and your bestie could go as the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella! On the dark side, we have the Evil Queen. This cape would be an easy way to represent this wicked villain! You could wear it for Halloween or simply while hanging out watching the Villain show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
I will be the first to tell you that I would not choose this cape. I have a severe dislike of Jafar’s favorite reptile. However, it would perfectly represent Jafar! The detail of the snake coming out of the hoodie that also represents his sultan cap is magnificent! Fans of this vile villain could create the perfect look featuring this cape, I am sure.
Next up, we have the god of the Underworld! This Hades inspired cape is filled with details at every look. The swirls for the fire/smoke, Pain and Pain along the back and the skull on the front collar! I, personally, find Hades hilarious (there’s a reason he was the host of Villains Tonight on Disney Cruise Lines…may the show rest in peace). He also doesn’t tend to get enough merchandise, so I am thrilled to see this cape!
As of now, these are the capes we spotted at Disney Springs. Despite the fact that Edna Mode says No Capes, I am hoping we will see more in the coming weeks. They make for fabulous Halloween looks and Disney looks overall.
