The Skeleton Dance Halloween Collection is preparing to rattle its way onto DisneyStore.com! Disney is celebrating the spooky 1929 Silly Symphony short with an entire assortment inspired by its dancing skeletons. The collection officially launches online August 31, while select pieces are already appearing at Disney Parks. From cozy apparel to fabulous Harveys bags, these happy haunts are ready to dance straight into our Halloween collections.

Spooky Styles With a Vintage Disney Twist

The apparel might be my favorite part of this entire collection. Black, white, and gray give everything a wonderfully eerie vintage-cartoon feel.

The Mickey Mouse and The Skeleton Dance 1/4 Zip Pullover Spirit Jersey features a dramatic dip-dyed look. Mickey appears on the front against the black-and-white design. Turn it around to find dancing skeletons across the lower back. The Skeleton Dance title finishes the look across the shoulders.

Then there is the Mickey Mouse Varsity Sweater Jacket. This black-and-ivory knit jacket is seriously fabulous! A huge black-and-white Mickey design stretches across the front. Striped trim gives it that classic varsity feel. The back features tonal Mickey Mouse Sound Cartoon lettering.

Harveys Bags Are Ready to Rattle

Harveys fans may have the hardest decisions to make! The tote features rows of filmstrip-style scenes from the vintage cartoons. The black-and-white palette makes it wonderfully spooky without screaming Halloween. The clutch takes a different approach. Mickey and the dancing skeletons alternate across the gray Harveys seatbelt material. A little bow across the top adds an unexpected, sweet touch. Click HERE to see actual pics of them on our Instagram! Something look a little different? The Park bags are actually different silhouettes than what we will be seeing online! If you prefer the park versions, reach out to our preferred personal shopper @shopthemeparks!

There is also a round coin purse featuring one very familiar skeleton. He sits atop a tombstone reading “Rest in Pieces,” surrounded by spooky cemetery details. The chain strap makes it easy to attach and take along anywhere you go! These designs are quirky, creepy, and completely different from most Disney Halloween bags we see each year.

Rest in Pieces at Home

Spooky skeleton-themed bedding with pillow and blanket for Halloween decor.

The home collection continues the black-and-white theme. A soft throw blanket is covered with oversized dancing skeletons. Pair it with the coordinating tombstone-shaped pillow for the ultimate spooky-season snuggle spot.

Then there is that light-up figure! A grinning skeleton crouches atop a gray “Rest in Pieces” tombstone. I love how much personality Disney packed into this creepy little character. It looks like something that wandered straight out of a 1929 cartoon and landed in your Halloween display.

More Skeletons Are Waiting in the Wings

This is only a shriek peek at what Disney has planned. There are hints of more pieces when the collection arrives online. The Skeleton Dance Halloween Collection launches HERE on DisneyStore.com August 31. Select merchandise is also available now at Disney Parks.

Between the Harveys bags, cozy apparel, and spooky home décor, my Halloween wish list just got longer. The Skeleton Dance Halloween Collection has everything we need to shake, rattle, and roll into spooky season!
