Disney x Formula 1 Races Into Fashion With a New Pull&Bear Collection

Mickey Mouse is trading Main Street, U.S.A. for the racetrack! The first-ever Disney x Formula 1 collection from Pull&Bear has arrived, combining classic Mickey style with the retro graphics and sporty silhouettes of vintage motorsport.

The collaboration takes inspiration from the visual history surrounding Formula 1 racing. Think team uniforms, racing numbers, checkered flags, bold typography, sponsor-style graphics, and the merchandise fans have collected at races for decades.

Mickey Mouse Joins the Racing Team

The pieces we have seen lean heavily into a Mickey Mouse Racing Team theme. Mickey appears alongside Formula 1 logos, race cars, the number 28, racing crests, and plenty of graphics inspired by traditional team apparel.

One of my favorite designs is the white Mickey Racing Team tee. Mickey is dressed in his racing gear alongside a bright red Formula 1-style car bearing the number 28. It has all the appeal of vintage race merchandise while still being unmistakably Disney.

There are several other takes on the racing tee, including a white and red raglan shirt and a bold red long-sleeve polo-style top emblazoned with “Mickey Mouse Racing Team.” The latter looks especially convincing as something you might see a crew wearing around the paddock.

Retro Racing Style Takes Center Stage

Pull&Bear really committed to the motorsport aesthetic with this collection. Rather than simply placing Mickey and an F1 logo on basic tees, many of the pieces borrow actual design elements from racing apparel.

A red, white, and navy long-sleeve top is covered in Formula 1 and Mickey Racing graphics, while another navy top features striped layered sleeves for a distinctly retro look. There is also a color-blocked sweatshirt with “Fuel the Magic” written across the front.

The collection uses plenty of racing red, white, black, grey, and navy. Those colors appear on everything from oversized sweatshirts and hoodies to jackets and fitted pieces.

Light blue jacket with Disney logo and Formula 1 patch for fans.

There are some more understated options, too. A white hoodie features a small Mickey icon paired with the Formula 1 logo on the chest. Meanwhile, a light blue zip-front shirt has subtle Mickey and F1 embroidery, giving fans a way to participate in the trend without going full racing team.

Jackets Worthy of the Paddock

The outerwear is where this collection really starts looking like legitimate motorsport fashion.

A bright red jacket keeps things relatively simple with a black Mickey and Formula 1 emblem on the chest. There is also a black-and-white racing jacket with curved color-blocking and an “M&F” Mickey racing crest. Both have that vintage team-jacket quality that works surprisingly well with Mickey Mouse.

For a more casual option, the collection includes a grey zip-up hoodie with colorful “It’s Race Day” lettering and the Disney x Formula 1 branding.

Bottoms and Accessories Complete the Look

The Disney x Formula 1 collection extends beyond tops and jackets. Pull&Bear has created coordinating joggers, capri pants, a mini skirt, and additional sporty bottoms.

The grey joggers feature just a small Mickey x Formula 1 graphic, while black capri pants use white piping along the sides. A black-and-white pair of track pants continues the vintage racing theme with contrasting panels and Formula 1 and Mickey Racing Team graphics.

There is even a grey pleated mini skirt for anyone who wants to mix the racing trend with something a little more feminine.

Accessories include socks, caps, and bags. One of the pieces shown is a navy baseball cap embroidered with a Mickey icon containing the number 28 above the Formula 1 logo. A bright blue tote also puts the number 28 front and center, with tiny Mickey and F1 logos underneath.

Disney Style Goes Full Speed Ahead

Disney and Formula 1 might sound like an unexpected fashion pairing, but Mickey Mouse fits the vintage racing aesthetic remarkably well. The combination of retro graphics, oversized silhouettes, bold racing colors, and the number 28 gives the collection plenty of personality without losing either side of the collaboration.

I also appreciate the range. You can go all-in with a graphic racing jersey or color-blocked jacket, or keep things subtle with a small Mickey x F1 logo on a hoodie, shirt, or pair of joggers.

And this is only the first drop from Disney x Formula 1 and Pull&Bear, which certainly leaves the door open for more characters and racing-inspired styles down the road!

What do you think of the first Disney x Formula 1 collection from Pull&Bear? Are you ready to join Mickey Mouse’s Racing Team?
