For anyone else wondering, musubi is a popular snack in Hawaii made with a block of rice. One especially popular version is Spam musubi. It features a slice of cooked Spam placed on rice and wrapped together with nori, or dried seaweed. It has Japanese influences and has become an iconic grab-and-go food in Hawaii. Think of it as a portable savory snack that is perfect for enjoying on the go. Now that we have had our little foodie lesson, let’s talk about the ears!
