For the past few months, I had heard rumors that the fabulous 20% discount I receive as an Annual Passholder was going to end on September 30th. I cannot tell you how many people I had to ask to find the answer today, as I was panicked in the shops at Disney. I wanted to make sure I got the best use of my discount if today was the last day! Well, it looks like the 20% Disney World Annual Pass discount has been extended!
I found this to be remarkable news. I am not alone in the fact that I have thoroughly enjoyed the 20% discount while shopping on the Shop Disney Parks App or at the Disney Parks in Florida. I have especially enjoyed it on my Dooney and Bourke, Pandora and Alex and Ani purchases.
A source has told us it was confirmed with a manager in the annual passholder department. When I went to my annual passholder page, I clicked on the merchandise discount and it has 20% with no expiration date!
It looks like the extension is definite but the new deadline is not. It was confirmed that the dining discount was extended to December 23rd, 2017. Perhaps, that will be the new shopping discount deadline, as well. I promise to keep you posted.
