When I got word that one of the new Her Universe Disney Park inspired dresses had appeared at The Dress Shop at Disney Springs today, I had my wallet open and ready. It turns out that the Tightrope Girl dress has appeared but is currently just a tease.
I was so ready to buy but now I just know I need to keep stalking the store until the arrive. We had been told they would be here by Fall Dapper Days, which is at Disneyland in 2 weeks, so it looks like they are preparing for an earlier release. The Ashleys will be at Disney Springs next weekend for the release of a Groot tee shirt so, perhaps, they will be there for the release of the park inspired dresses as well!
The detail on this dress is so thoughtful. It is definitely costumey but a lot of us like that when we are at the Parks. For me, the bodice and the cape are everything. The different textures add such a fantastic element to an already fabulous dress! I have been waiting for this release for a while so this is just the next step to building my excitement!
This dress is most likely not going to appear on the Shop Disney Parks App or ShopDisney, just as the other Dress Shop dresses did not for the longest time. There has been great anticipation over these designs so i am assuming they will sell out relatively quickly.
