You never have to grow up with the latest Dooney and Bourke release at Uptown Jewelers! The Peter Pan Dooney and Bourke bags are in and will transport you off to Neverland!
We talked about this print in detail back in September when they were first spotted at a preview event but it is always nice to seethings in person. I don’t know that my opinion changed much from the first time but there are a few things worth pointing out.
This print is very much like the Pirates of the Caribbean Dooney and Bourke print, in my opinion. I really only need so many black and white bags. Some fashionistas, however, like the more neutral patterns and this one would be perfect for that fashionista!
All of the bags are lined with this pixie perfect Tinkerbell green! I love the subtle attention to details that Disney does with it’s designer collaborations.
The wristlet of this collection has a centered print, instead of a patterned one like the other 2. This one is dappled in stars, and says the iconic Peter Pan phrase “Never grow up!”. Peter is in flight and headed for Neverland! This wristlet is about standard size for a Dooney wristlet, and also offers dividers inside. The back of this bag is a sleek solid black. The wristlet retails for $98.00
The Hallie crossbody silhouette is one of my favorites for using at the Parks. The back has a slip pocket, and the inside has quite a few dividers for keeping all of your essentials organized. This bag has the all over print of Peter, Tink, the Darlings, and the Lost boys! The super cute medium sized Hallie retails for $228.00.
The tote has the all over line print, but is color blocked with sleek black sides. We were all curious to know if this would have a zipper close, and I’m happy to report that it does!
Another fun addition to the tote bag of this collection is a slip pocket in the back. The tote is a great bag for if you need to take lots of things on the go. This one retails for $268.00
The hang tag is another one of those fantastic subtle details. The front has an embossed Peter Pan silhouette flying off to Neverland, and the back has his signature.
We decided to do a size comparison of the tote, because the black sides were a little deceiving of it’s true size. You can see it is a bit smaller than the regular shopper totes, but not by a huge margin.
