The fashion, it’s calls me! There has been some great Danielle Nicole collections already this year, and we’re only on month two! Well, I guess it was time to up the game, because the Danielle Nicole Moana collection is real, and it will be heading to Box Lunch and Hot Topic!
Am I a little too excited about this? Maybe, but I love Moana and these bags are just too amazing. Like the previous 2 collections to debut this year, there will be three bags to celebrate this collection. A Moana Crossbody, a Pua bag, and a Kakamora bag, which might be the one I’m most excited for. On February first, the Danielle Nicole Facebook page posted a couple of photoshoot sneak peeks, and we couldn’t be more thankful!
First, let’s check out the Moana purse. This is a signature die-cut bag, as are the other two in the collection. It feature’s Moana with a gentle smile, in a bit of a heart shape. Moana is of course wearing the Heart of Te Fiti, and even though it’s a far away picture, you can tell there’s at least a little bit of sparkle.
Pua was Moana’s faithful companion on the Island of Motunui, so of course he’s showcased in a bag, too. Pua is a smooth die-cut bag withe embroidered features. This would be a fabulous handbag for a Moana inspired DisneyBound, too! There looks to be a chain hanging from it, so it is most likely a crossbody bag too.
Last, but not least is the Kakamora handbag! This bag perfectly captures the essence of the tiny coconut warriors. There looks to be a Kakamora zip pull tag, which is a nice touch, since they always seem to travel together. I’m not for certain what the strap is like on this one, but there does appear to be a matching leather shoulder strap. This bag also has lots of embellishments on it to create a more in depth look that brings the character to life.
There is no official word on the launch date yet, but it looks like we should be seeing these awesome Moana bags online and in store for Box Lunch and Hot Topic Soon!
