The runDisney Expo for the Princess Half Marathon is finally here, and that means we get to take a peek at all of the amazing new merchandise. One of the exciting things that we got to see a closer look of today, was the Princess Half Marathon Dooney & Bourke Bags. As Mickey would say, oh boy! They’re gorgeous!
The satchel is the largest of the bags, with a dome shape and zippered top. Just look at how vivid the contrast of the colors are on the princesses with the sapphire background too!
I love the wristlets because they can double as a wallet, too. You can really see the brighter blue floral work in the background too. The wallet/wristlet bags are always the most notorious ones print placement fails, but I think this print doesn’t do too bad with them. If you have one princess a bit cut off, the repeating pattern makes sure you’ll still get a good position of her somewhere else on the bag.
The crossbody purses are always very popular. The print works well on this one too, only covering a bit of one princess, but there are still plenty of other good portraits of her. This bag not only has the vachetta leather trim on the corners, and front pocket, but also has piping with it too.
The bottom of this one is pure print, no leather covering. I really like how the characters are striped across the bottom, and again this print does well in not looking like it’s misaligned with the rest of the bag.
The hang tag for the satchel and crossbody hand bags are so fabulous! One side reads “Chase YOUR Dream” which is a motto of the Princess Half, and the other side Says Princess Half Marathon, with 2018.
