I am crazy excited about this new merchandise program called Twenty Eight & Main!! I am in the midst of compiling my top Disney gifts for Father’s Day and I only wish that something like this new collection was already released!!! It is quite the challenge finding Disney gifts for those discerning gentlemen in our lives. This new Disney Theme Park Merchandise exclusive collection of high quality goods was created for exactly this clientele…. “discerning gentlemen.” I like to think of it as discerning Disney gentlemen because the average male may not get the significance behind a lot of the apparel in the collection.
Okay, something of note is that this isn’t just a collection of apparel. The collection will contain apparel items such as short and long-sleeved shirts, vintage-style T-shirts, hats and more BUT there will also be accessories including drinkware, D-Tech phone cases and other travel items. I think that adds a whole new range of items for Disney loving men everywhere! There is always so much for women but now there will be more for the men to choose from as well.
This is what the merchandiser for graphic apparel, Bobby Bongiorno, had to say about the collection“Twenty Eight & Main will be known for quality and attention to detail,” explained Bobby. “We intend to use unique fabrics and washes for many items. We will also include embellishment techniques such as light weight embroidery, patches and appliqués to create items that will be functional and will fit great. The look will be classic, yet stylish and modern in every sense.”
Check out these graphics!! A lot of these have a special place in my heart. I was just at Walt Disney World last week and had the pleasure of going to Trader Sams. While there, we met a great couple and started talking about our love for Disney. We discovered that we were all fans of the Adventurers Club and missed it terribly. We shared stories of the times we’d had there and then discussed where some of those Cast members were now. Imagine my delight to see the graphic for the Adventurers Club!!! The Florida Project shirt is also special as it is straight from Walt’s heart. That is what he called it and I think he would love this shirt.
There’s also art work in the new collection. It’s definitely got a masculine feel to it and I could easily see these signs in work shops and man caves everywhere!
If you are wondering about the name of the new merchandise, you are not alone. I was wondering myself! This is what Bobby Bongiorno said about the program’s name:

I am excited for this new collection, Twenty Eight & Main,” to debut this fall… even though I wish it was going to be around for Father’s Day. It will be available at select merchandise locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Looking forward to the new collection. Why can’t you find an Olaf ball cap for men at WDW? We looked all winter at every park and couldn’t find one. They have them on Amazon but he wanted it from the park. Can you help?
