Can you believe it is almost March and The Flower and Garden Festival is almost upon us? This is one of my favorite festivals at Epcot because it means Spring is here and the winter blahs are behind me!
A week or so ago, we shared a sneak peek of the Violet Lemonade Ears and a Minnie tee shirt coming to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. We knew there would be 5 different collections being released but we only knew who they featured. Well, it’s now time for a sneak peek of the merchandise in 4/5 of the collections coming to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival!
Minnie’s Garden Party
I am going to be insanely broke. That should sum up what I think of this Minnie Garden Party Collection.
Can we talk about this adorable Spirit Jersey? I will say that this is one of 2 being released for the festival but I need both! I know you must be thinking I don’t need another pink Spirit Jersey but I say you are wrong! The floral detail on the front along with the bright and vivid colors on the back make this Spirit Jersey a true home run in my books!
Pair this Loungefly Flower Fanny Pack (it has a hangtag for the festival!) with the Spirit Jersey and you are well on your way to the perfect outfit at the Festival.
There will also be a new MagicBand featuring Minnie for the Festival. This is one of 2 being released so if Minnie isn’t your favorite character (even if she is mine) then you are in luck. The color of this one is fantastic for Spring, though, and Minnie in all her pink glory really pops against it. This is going to retail for $29.99.
These pics should give you an idea of what else is in store in the Minie Garden Party Collection. Hats, Tervis tumblers, pitchers, garden stones, tees, and plushes… all things that add to the perfect garden party (okay maybe not the plush but still…)!
Violet Lemonade Collection
We knew about the Ears but who else called a Spirit Jersey? I know I did! It’s going to be another perfect ensemble for another day at the Festival!
Put a Little Zest in Your Fest is the slogan for this particular collection and I think it’s darling! The Spirit Jersey is quite a different purple than the purple potion Spirit Jersey so you cannot say you already have it. Smart! That gives me an excuse! The front of the Jersey does say it is for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival so it makes for an awesome souvenir.
These Ears are detailed all the way around including the side which states what they are for… the festival! I know these will be a hot commodity!
There are socks and a 12oz Tervis (it’s purple glitter) and a keychain for this collection as well. If you are in need of stress balls, the lemons on the pic are for you. Sneaky, right?
Mickey’s Garden Shed
Mickey and Minnie get their own collections for the festival which is fabulous since not everyone loves both of them. The Mickey Garden Shed Collection features mugs, Tervis coffee tumblers, salt, and pepper shakers and more!
By more, I also mean fashionable items like tote bags and raglans. You can Turnip the Fun with any of these items (see what they did there?).
I told you there would be a second MagicBand to choose from and here it is! Mickey and Goofy are the stars and they are hard at work at the Seed Co. To our knowledge, they don’t have any special features like lighting up a different color at the gate or making a noise but booth MagicBands still make great collectibles!
Spike and Donald Collection
Spike isn’t necessarily as well known as Mickey and Minnie but I think it’s fabulous he is included! In fact, this year’s Hide and Seek features Spike!
The name of the game is Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration and I cannot wait to play! For $6.99, you really can’t resist playing this game as you travel around the world looking at gorgeous topiaries and trying food and drink from around the world!
At the end you win a set of stickers from one of the Collections (we don’t have any info on the Figment Collection yet sadly).
I’ll be honest, I didn’t see a ton of Donald but I am guessing since this is a sneak peek it will be more clear when the festval opens.
There are some mugs available and if you look closely, you will see the Passholder on the rim! I will be looking for all the Passholder merchandise when I am there next week to share with you. We know there will be pins and a Dooney, as well.
Now, I am sure many of you are wondering where the Dooneys are. They aren’t at the sneak peek. What we learned was they have a white background and they will have butterflies on them. There will be a crossbody, tote, and stachel as well as the Passholder bag. Four silhouettes in total. When I know more, I will share.
That’s it for the overall review. I will have these all broken down into separate articles with more detail about each in the upcoming day or so. In the meantime, if you see something you have to have, and you don’t want to wait to see if it shows up on the App, head over to shopthemeparks@gmail and let our preferred personal shopper know you are interested in something.
