I was hoping to be able to tell you this news sooner but enough’s enough. I was trying to get my hands on this new Disney Dare To Dream Collection at Walgreens but mine didn’t have it yet. Hopefully your local Walgreens does have it. In the meantime, allow me to give you all the news I do have on it and introduce you to the pieces of the all new Disney Dare to Dream cosmetic collection!
This is an overview of part of the Dare to Dream collection. The collection features Ariel, Mulan and Pocahontas in their own cosmetic lines similar to what we have seen by e.l.f. in the past for Elsa and Belle. This collection has cosmetic bags as well as Orly nail polish for each of the Princesses! I am going to show you closer images of the nail polish collections but, as per previous collections, the price is $6.99 for a single polish and $10.99 for a 3 pack of smaller bottles. That’s quite a savings if you want to try out more than one color.
This is Mulan’s color palette. To me, these are springy colors that remind me of flowers in bloom.
Ariel’s colors remind me of different features she has…. the red hair, green tail and blue eyes…. I am loving this set.
Pocahontas has all the colors of the wind in her color scheme. I find that each collection is different enough that you can mix and match and, perhaps, even get colors from each Princess’ collection.
Let’s talk straight up cosmetics. Does this not look familiar? The Disney Dare to Dream Collection has a beauty book for each Princess but then different smaller items that vary from Princess to Princess. There are lipsticks, glosses, compacts, bronzers and eye shadow quads. I’m going to start by showing you each beauty book and then I’ll show some of the individual items.
This is Mulan’s beauty book. These really portray her colors as you can even see by the packaging. There are 9 shadows, 2 blushes, an eye liner and a lipstick. This will allow you to complete almost an entire look, minus powder and mascara! Look at the names of some of the colors. They really put the time in to think of names that would fit Mulan’s character.
Pocahontas has her own beauty book with colors named aptly as well. Colors like Willow, Warrior, and Dreamcatcher. These names all encompass Pocahontas and her story. I love the shades of this book, though they do remind me of fall. This beauty book contains all the same items as the previous book with the exception of lip gloss instead of lip stick.
Ariel’s beauty book does not disappoint! With names like Dinglehopper and Snarfblatt, who could deny which Princess this belongs to?? I can’t decide which is my favorite but I am thinking one of each to cover every season is in order!
Pocahontas has a compact and luminizer available as extra items. Looks to me to be mostly bronzers.
Ariel has eye quads and a lip set as her extra items.
Mulan has the above lip glosses as well as small nail polishes as her extra items.
Each Princess also has her own chapstick! I mean, this entire collection is overwhelming and fabulous! I feel like Pocahontas and Mulan never get enough recognition, either, so it’s fantastic to see them as the star of their own collection. The Disney Dare to Dream collection really features three of the strong female characters that dared to dream and fought for what they believed in… and won! That’s a collection worth believing in!
I mentioned I could not find these products at my local Walgreens yet but I realize I have the pictures. I found them HERE. Have you seen this collection at your local Walgreens yet? What do you think of the Disney Dare to Dream Collection? Let us know in the comment box below!
