I just recently posted about the new fab 5 MagicBands and how they are available online now. I have also given you ideas as to how to decorate your own MagicBands or how to buy the accessories. Disney heard our cries for new MagicBands, that don’t require us fixing them up ourselves, and are releasing a bunch of new ones this month! Let me show you what I found.
I will start with the 2 that are already here. It doesn’t surprise me that there is a Steamboat Willie MagicBand as he has been the star of a few new items this year (remember the runDisney New Balance shoes). Nemo and friends, on the other hand is a fabulous addition! These are available at select locations around the Disney Parks but also HERE at Mouse To Your House. They are not yet available from Disney Store and I am not sure when they will be.
On August 14, Disney will release two additional open edition retail MagicBands. One will have our favorite Pooh Bear while the other will feature Jack Skellington! Open edition retail MagicBands are cool because they make practical, yet stylish, souvenirs and can be linked later on. You don’t need to worry about how to link them later on. You can even ask at guest services and they will help you out. You don’t lose any of the info or passes from the Resort shipped MagicBands.
These are my favorite and they are not coming till later this month. These are Park specific MagicBands! I am in LOVE with the one for Epcot! Figment deserves his time to shine and it is happening more and more.
The new MagicBand accessories are the attraction-themed MagicSliders and they are unlike anything I’ve seen from the brand yet. The deal is, they are small rectangular images that slide onto the side of a MagicBand. You can even use these in an amusing way and kind of make it a game. You can either showcase your favorite Disney attractions or keep track of which ones you’ve experienced.
There are three attraction sliders per MagicSlider pack. There are three different packs of Magic Kingdom Park attractions, and two packs each for attractions at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
What do you think of the latest and greatest in MagicBands and accessories?? Which of the new ones is your favorite? Let us know in the comment box below!

What? No Maleficent? *SIGH* And why aren’t they sending Passholders their own sliders? I have one from 2014, but haven’t gotten one since then. 🙁

I would love to see a Maleficent one! Perhaps there will still be one for the fall. I am not sure about the passholder sliders because I have NEVER received one! I always have an AP, too. Wish I could help!
