I like to consider myself a connoisseur of Mickey and Minnie Ears. I have a collection of more than 100 pair and I wear Ears pretty much every day I am at Disney (and then some days that I am not). I can honestly say that the new ink and paint Ears are truly a work of art themselves!
Where were the new ink and paint Ears during the opening of the Festival of The Arts! I wore a fabulous pair of art inspired ears for the opening day of the festival but I have to say that these make my heart soar! The Festival of the Arts Ears don’t compare in my humble opinion. Just saying.
These ink and paint ears were found at Star Traders at Magic Kingdom of all places. Not where you would be looking for this kind of ear but definitely a pleasant surprise!
The design consists of different Disney characters in the midst of being painted. The paint brushes are crisscrossed across the center the headband where the bow would normally be. It’s genius!
Do you see what’s behind the brushes? It’s a paint palette with Mickey shaped paints! There isn’t one thing about these ink and paint ears I’m not in love with.
