I know many people thoroughly enjoyed the collection that I talked about a couple of weeks ago from Hot Topic. Hot Topic’s sister store, Torrid, heard the excitement and decided to make a very similar collection for plus sized women. This is super exciting news since many people were wanting pieces from the Hot Topic collection but were unable to wear them. Let’s take a look at what the Torrid Cinderella collection has to offer!
I’m starting with my favorite piece. I loved it at Hot Topic but it wasn’t something I thought was made for busty ladies. This dress would work amazingly well. I love the design in the fabric, the neckline and the larger straps which make it easier to wear a bra with. This dress retails for $78.50.
This Cinderella Ruffle Dress is also almost identical to the one from Hot Topic with the exception of the length, which is a tad longer, and the capped sleeves which allow for the use of a bra. This dress is whimsical and flirty, It retails for $58.50.
The Cinderella Overcoat is a shorter version of the one from Hot Topic which, I will admit, I don’t know that I love. I think the longer one is more flattering on a larger woman.I do love the buttons and the lacing on the back, though, The retail cost is $98.50.
This Striped Top is shown with pants in this picture but it is actually paired with the skirt on Hot Topic. Both of the designs are tailored to be more suitable for a curvy woman and I love them both. The top is $38.50 and the skirt is $48.50.
The sad news is that the Torrid website is sold out of most of the above designs. I am not sure if they will be getting more or not. However, the stores also have the collection!!! If there is Torrid locally, you should check it out. If you like the above designs but aren’t plus sized, check out the similar designs at Hot Topic.
