Do you ever feel deliciously evil? I know I have my moments and when I do, I channel my inner villain fashion sense. A new Maleficent dress arrived on shopDisney this morning and I sense a new dress in my future to curb my evil appetite.
I have this style dress and I just love it! It is so flattering on a curvy body. Sleeveless is the right way to go if you are planning on wearing this dress during the Halloween season as it’s very hot at Walt Disney World in the Fall. The thick waistband is very slimming. Overall, I adore this style!
Let’s talk about the actual pattern. The colors are what Maleficent is known for and, even if they weren’t, I have always loved green and purple together. The dress tells a story with the imagery. The front has Maleficent in front of the castle in the briars. The green and yellow flames tell the story of when Maleficent is about to turn into the dragon.
When you turn around to the back, you find Maleficent has transformed into the dragon and is continuing the fight! The fact that they show both sides of Maleficent is an added bonus! If you look at the top shoulder on the back you will find Diablo, Maleficent’s pet raven, watching over her. No detail has been left out!
