Our beloved silly old bear is turning 100 this year, and just in time for the celebration, Disney Store brings us a dress as sweet as can bee. This February 9th, make sure to snag this Winnie the Pooh Dress Shop dress.
Spotted on the coming soon section of Disney Store, we got a glimpse of a yellow dress with an all-over print of the One Hundred Acre Wood map and a blue sash that reminds us of Christopher Robin’s signature shirt. A perfect combination of colors and a subtle nod to this iconic duo that has shaped many a childhood over the past century.
The silhouette of this dress reminds us of the old school Disney Dress Shop styles and the new Parks Treat Dress we got a couple of years ago. We don’t have more details other than these, but as soon as there are more, we will be more than happy to share them with you.
Long gone are the days of The Disney Dress Shop, at the parks, when we would get exquisitely tailored dresses that celebrated Disney attractions or characters, all under one convenient place. In WDW, it was the CoOp and at Disneyland it was, well, you guessed it, The Disney Dress Shop in Downtown Disney. These stores, unfortunately, closed soon after the pandemic. For a while, we had a dry spell on good garments for us Dapper Days enthusiasts. But over the past year, we had a renewed influx of cute dresses from Disney Store. We might not be able to find them at the parks anymore, but that makes them more accessible for everyone online.
This fashionista is definitely making sure to log online as early as possible to get this fabulous tribute to her childhood best friend right into her closet. I am already thinking of Piglet outfits for my little one to match this Disney mom. A dress as sweet as can bee deserves to make core memories for my family.
