We have loved all the recent news about the upcoming holiday season, and now a New Holiday Event at Walt Disney World Resort, along with the return of the classics, has been announced! We can’t wait!
First up, let’s talk about this fabulous new event filled with nostalgia, glitz, and glam–Disney Jollywood Nights is a brand new nighttime holiday party happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! This separately ticketed event will run from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am on select nights from November 11th through December 20th! During this event you can dance to merry mashups of modern beats over classic holiday songs, taste treats and cocktails, meet iconic Characters, and enjoy the return of the nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” Plus, each entertainment area will provide a unique experience!
When you enter, a DJ will be spinning holiday tunes, and Commissary Lane will show off a Latin Street Fair! At Theater of the Stars, you can spot Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy hosting a live holiday special with some of their Disney friends, and at Hyperion Theater, you can take part in a sing-along! There are two limited-capacity entertainment experiences including a jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby and an other-worldly soirée at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard! Of course, there will also be plenty of photo opportunities including holiday-themed Magic Shots, two new Disney PhotoPass experiences, a chance to meet Mickey, Minnie, and the gang in Animation Courtyard on a hot set with holiday props, the opportunity to hang with favorites like Powerline Max, Phineas, and Ferb at Echo Lake, and the chance to glam it up with Edna Mode and maybe even Frozone at Pixar Place!
Digital downloads of the PhotoPass photos captured during the event will also be included in the price of the ticket! We can’t forget about the attractions, since this party will also give you after-hours access to rides like Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (with a virtual queue), and more!
There will even be exclusive food offerings available for purchase including a Colorful Christmas Tree Cookie Stack, Spicy Korean Chicken on a Mini Funnel Cake, and tasty holiday cocktails and beverages!
Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting June 29th, and all other Guests can purchase tickets starting July 6th! Prices range from $159-$179 a person and dates include:
- November: 11,18, 20, 27, 29
- December: 4, 6,16,18, 20
If you prefer to go with a classic, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is also returning for 25 select nights from November 9th through December 22nd! You will get to see the “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” stage show, “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade!” You can also experience attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise (with a virtual queue). Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting June 29th, and all other Guests can purchase tickets starting July 6th! Prices range from $159-$199 a person and dates include:
- November: 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 30
- December: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
Other exciting holiday offerings include “Frozen Holiday Surprise,” which will be a new illuminating experience at Magic Kingdom Park in front of Cinderella Castle with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies during both regular and party hours, the Merry Menagerie of winter animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the Candlelight Processional during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays from November 24th through December 30th at EPCOT, a Yuletide projection show on The Hollywood Tower Hotel and Woody, Buzz, and Jessie in their holiday best at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs, and Santa Claus at all four parks, Disney Springs, and even a Disney Water Park in his tropical holiday beachwear!
