After The Aladdin First Look, All We Can Say is Jasmine Has Got Style!

Entertainment Weekly has shared a first look at the new Live Action Aladdin film coming soon. While most of the internet is making jokes about Genie’s hair, or commenting on how good looking Jafar is, we’re obsessing over how amazing Jasmine’s wardrobe looks!

They really went for the classic Jasmine look we all know and love, instead of trying to completely reimagine her. While some may not like the changes they made, I personally love it. I like that they gave her a more modest look, without taking away from the iconic style we know and love.

Even her marketplace disguise looks positively fabulous. The deep yellow accents compliment Naomi beautifully, and you can even see a little peek of the iconic turquoise blue underneath.

The regal robes of Princess Jasmine are pretty breathtaking! Just look at that gorgeous pink train? There are definitely lots of layers involved with this costuming, on top of intricate beadwork and embroidery.

Some fans aren’t quite sure of it yet, but there were a lot of skeptics about the Live Action Beauty and the Beast, and Maleficent and both movies turned out wonderfully. The EW Magazine with the Aladdin cover and movie details inside will be on stands this Friday!

What are your thoughts on Jasmine’s style in the Aladdin First Look?
