Decorating your house to show your Disney Side isn’t always easy. There are lots of things out there to decorate with but not all Disney decor is created equal. Back in the day, when the Disney Home Store existed at Disney Marketplace, I could find a lot more quality items. Now, I have to search. I managed to find something I think would have been front and center at the Home Store. I’ve always wanted a “mirror, mirror on the wall!”
Any Disney fan knows that this mirror is based on the most famous mirror at all…. the mirror the Evil Queen uses in Snow White! I used to be petrified of this mirror, and the Evil Queen, when I was a child but now I can totally picture this mirror in my front hallway!!! It would go perfectly with the artwork I already have there. I could check how I look right before I head out the door for my day.
According to the description, this is a re-purposed mirror. The mirror is made from solid oak and has three drill holes on the sides and bottom for mounting. Wood plugs are provided for covering the drill holes, which is an important feature.
Now, the top of the mirror says “Mirror, Mirror on the wall” but, what I didn’t notice at first is that, the continuation of this famous phrase is at the bottom, “Who is the fairest of them all?”. The sides and the bottom are accented with vibrant colors and accents of gold paint. The main picture on the top is the “man in the mirror” in colors of green, purples, reds, oranges and yellows. He is surrounded by layers of magical flames. In case you are wondering, the size of the mirror is approximately 53 in. x 24 in.
